Meditating Buddha is a very powerful method of healing our self and others and for overcoming the inner sickness of attachment, hatred and ignorance. Meditating Buddha is an enlightened being who unbiased compassion for all living beings. Lord Buddha presides over a celestial paradise called Sukhavati, or "realm of bliss," which in Buddhism is understood to be a state of consciousness. Depicted in the mudra or gesture of meditation, this is a symbol of infinite openness and receptiveness.
